She’s baaaaack! Melissa Hastings, who’s been MIA since the Season 2 finale of Pretty Little Liars, is back on the June 26th episode, Birds of A Feather. The last time we saw her, she was gorging on toffee ice cream (Reminder: Mona Vanderwaal spoke of Toffee Tango lipstick during her monologue in the finale — the smallest things always have meaning in this show) and kissing Garrett Reynolds. And is it just me, or did the Black Swan resemble a not-so-pregnant Melissa Hastings?

The older Hastings sister was also extremely pregnant the last time she was seen in Rosewood, and viewers were beginning to wonder if she was giving birth to a human or an elephant. I, however, prefer the term “Ian’s fetus.” Regardless, new episode stills of Birds of A Feather have been released and Melissa Hastings has a flatter stomach, and uh, where’s the baby? If she just gave birth, wouldn’t she be pushing a stroller or using one of those baby strap carriers or something?

Melissa has already suffered one miscarriage, and viewers began to get a little suspicious that something was wrong when Spencer told their mom not to worry about Melissa, that she’d be fine. She is a Hastings, you know. But do you think she had another miscarriage? Or is there something else going on in Rosewood?
