Is There A Breakup in The Future for SPOBY?

admin » May 16, 2012 » Filed under: Pretty Little Liars,Spoilers » 0 comments

While most of the news about Spoby’s fate on Pretty Little Liars Season 3 has been positive, showrunner Marlene King recently sent fans a message that their happiness is not set in stone.

Recently, Marlene was hinting at a possible shower scene between Spencer (Troian Bellisario) and Toby (Keegan Allen). Since the Season 2 finale (Season 2, Episode 25: “UnmAsked”) showed Toby telling Spence that he was trying to protect her from harm with his silence, it looked like they could finally be together with no strings (or “A”s) attached.

But a fan asked Marlene if a Spoby breakup might happen on Season 3, and Marlene replied, “Everything is possible.”

Normally, we would take Marlene’s general answers to mean nothing, but she does answer fans’ tweets with specific answers more often than not. Just recently, a fan asked who was filming Spoby in a Season 1 scene, and she answered, “Mona.” So she is capable of straightforward answers.

We think the more important question is, if Spoby does wind up breaking up yet again, why? Could it be Jenna (Tammin Sursok)? Or someone else on the “A” team?

Will We See Duncan Again In Season 3?

admin » May 16, 2012 » Filed under: Pretty Little Liars,Spoilers » 0 comments

One of the characters we really want to see more of on Pretty Little Liars Season 3 is the mysterious Duncan, who gave the girls so much insight about Alison (Sasha Pieterse). Will we get to see more of him next season?

A fan recently asked showrunner Marlene King, “Could you tell something about Duncan?”

Always the tease, Marlene replied, “So far not in S3.”

We’re still hoping that Duncan makes another appearance, though if the Liars haven’t gone back to him within the first few episodes, it would probably take something dramatic to make them return to this source of information later in the season. Of course, this being Pretty Little Liars, we’re sure there will be plenty of drama…

When Can Fans Expect to see Wrencer in Season 3

While many Pretty Little Liars fans think Spencer (Troian Bellisario) and Toby (Keegan Allen) belong together, there’s also a strong contingent that wants to see her with hottie Brit Wren (Julian Morris). Will there be any Wrencer moments to help see the shippers through the beginning of Season 3?

A few weeks ago, showrunner Marlene King tweeted that there are some Wren scene coming up, “but not Wrencer.” Well, she must have been talking about the episodes she’s planning for after the Season 3 premiere (Season 3, Episode 1: “It Happened ‘That Night’”), because a recent tweet tells a different story.
A fan tweeted, “In which episode will Wrencer have their first S3 scene? :)

Marlene replied, “S3 premiere.”

Hmmm … We wonder if that scene will be heavily shippy, or just a brief interaction. Either way, we’ll be interested to see how these two interact now that Toby (Keegan Allen) is back in the picture.>

Which Liar Has The Most Post-Traumatic Stress?

admin » May 14, 2012 » Filed under: Pretty Little Liars » 0 comments

After everything the Liars have been through in the first two seasons of Pretty Little Liars, it’s hard to believe any of them are functioning at all. Somehow they just keep going.

Still, we’re interested to know which of the girls was the most affected by the events of Season 2, Episode 25: “UnmAsked.” Recently, a fan asked showrunner Marlene King this very question via Twitter, saying, “Which of the girls will have the worst post-traumatic stress?”

Marlene replied, “301 will answer that.”

For now, we just have to wonder. We could see arguments for almost any of the girls being the most shaken up by everything that happened. Hanna(Ashley Benson) learned her best friend was actually her evil stalker.Spencer (Troian Bellisario) is the one who actually confronted Mona(Janel Parrish). And Emily (Shay Mitchell), of course, discovered Maya(Bianca Lawson) was dead on the same night “A”‘s identity was revealed.

If we had to guess, we’d bet that Emily is the most shaken up, and we wouldn’t blame her. She has experienced even more loss than anyone else.

Who do you think will be the liar with the most post traumatic stress?

Janel Parrish Shows A Lot Of “Passion” with New Tattoo

admin » May 14, 2012 » Filed under: Janel Parrish,Pretty Little Liars,Spoilers » 0 comments

Following in the very fashionable footstepsof her fellow Pretty Little Liars co-stars,Janel Parrish (Mona Vanderwall) got a new tattoo over the weekend.

On May 12, Janeltweeted, “New tatt :) ” with a photo of the new ink. On the inside of her forearm, she has the word “passion” written in lower-case script. Of course, the actress who plays “A” would have to get a tattoo with the letter “A” in it!

We like Janel’s new tattoo. It’s simple, understated, and pretty. And who knows? Maybe her tattoo will be part of Mona’s storyline. If there’s anyPretty Little Liars character who knows a thing or two about passion, it’s “A.”

Who’s Kissing Emily in Episode Six of Season 3??

admin » May 14, 2012 » Filed under: Pretty Little Liars,Shay Mitchell » 0 comments

Well, that was quick!

Just two short weeks ago, Pretty Little Liarsshowrunner Marlene King said that there was a “possibility” that Aria’s mysterious buddy Holden (Shane Coffey) could return for Season 3. “We’re discussing it,” Marlene added at the time. Well, apparently everyone discussed and agreed that we need more Holden in our lives because PLLdirector Norman Buckley tweeted a photo of Shane faux kissing Shay Mitchellon the set of Season 3, Episode 6!

Personally, we couldn’t be excited about having more Holden in our lives. We’ve already said that we didn’t buy his heart condition/martial arts “secret” that he kept hidden from Aria, and we’d love to see how he fits into Rosewood now that “A” has been revealed. Is Holden connected to “A” puzzle in some way? Or maybe he is part of the Black Swan posse? We’ll have to wait and see what Mar has up her sleeve.

Oh, and before fans start squeeing about Shane “kissing” Shay, the romantic lean-in was some sort of on-set Twitter gag that everyone (including mama Marin and Toby!) were taking part in. No on-set romance here! That we know of…

Is Samara Coming Back In Season 3???

admin » May 14, 2012 » Filed under: Pretty Little Liars,Shay Mitchell,Spoilers » 0 comments

After Maya’s (Bianca Lawson) tragic demise in the Pretty Little Liars Season 2 finale (Season 2, Episode 25: “UnmAsked”), some fans are refusing to give up hope, evenpetitioning showrunner Marlene King to bring the character back. Others, however, have accepted the loss and are already looking to the future, wondering what’s next in Emily’s (Shay Mitchell) love life.

While Paige (Lindsey Shaw)/Emily shippers are hoping their budding friendship at the end of last season will blossom into something more, others are wondering if Samara (Claire Holt) could get thrown back into the mix. Showrunner Marlene King recently commented on the matter.

One fan tweeted at Marlene, “Will we see Samara in season 3?”

Marlene replied, “Not so far.”

Marlene has priorly tweeted about working on as many as the first six episodes of Season 3, so if Samara is going to return, it definitely won’t be right away.

Claire Holt is probably busy with her role on The Vampire Diaries, but maybe she could squeeze in an episode or two if the writers wanted.
